H2o Dreams Joins Boater Chick, Week of Rivers

We are back in the States and back on the road! We’ve been hard at work with one of our most exciting projects for the year, our Tributaries Tour. As you may know, this tour is geared towards connecting all facets of our paddling communities- from rank beginners to well established clubs- in order to strengthen leaders and advocates for the sport and the rivers we love so much. Our mission is rooted in collaboration and directed at fostering stewardship by creating strong relationships within the kayaking world. “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” The Tributaries Tour, hands down, is an education initiative on the wheels of community. That said, it is with incredible excitement that we announce our involvement with two of the region’s favorite summer events. This year, H2o Dreams will be teaming up with Boater Chick Festival and Carolina Canoe Club’s Week of Rivers! We are so excited to be partnered with these organizations and have the opportunity to meet, grow, share, and learn with and from so many passionate paddlers. We will be offering mini-clinics and guiding throughout both events, but mostly we’re just really thrilled at the opportunity to meet and work with a ton of great people, and share our favorite gift- the river- with boaters that are just as passionate as we are.

In addition to Boater Chick Festival and Week of Rivers, we’ll also be hosting collaborative events through Ladies of the Saluda and local paddling clubs in Columbia, SC; Get Outdoors of Greensboro, NC; and Asheville Adventure Rentals in Asheville, NC. These are just a few of the organizations and outfits in the area that speak to the virtue of the Tributaries Tour and remain inclusively committed toIMG_1334 sharing and protecting the river.

Specific details regarding clinics, guiding, and events with each affiliate will be announced soon, so stay tuned!

If you’re interested in teaming up with H2o Dreams and brainstorming community building initiatives, get in touch with us! Whether you’re a paddling club, a retailer, or a few dedicated boaters meeting in the pool each week, we would love to connect with you and your paddling group.
