  About the course:

Uncover a whole new realm of comfort with the roll. Learning to right yourself without ejecting from the kayak is the quintessential skill in all of paddling; it allows you to conserve energy, discover more of the water, and have more fun! Spend this class getting comfortable and oriented upside down while gaining exposure and understanding of fundamental roll mechanics.

Students can expect to spend time upside down (inverted) in kayaks and while working towards mastery, leave with enough base knowledge and homework drills to continue your progression. We never exceed a 3:1 student to instructor ratio.

  1. Alberto Toledo

By far the best full service whitewater training organization that I have seen, or invested my time and money into.

Chris and his crew are just splendid on how they lay down the foundation so we fully understand the Roll so it makes sense, even underwater …

Daniel has been exceptional and allowed me to feel not just think about the Roll. I really did not think I would ever get to the point that I am now in…….. Adding the Roll to your tool kits, will take away that nasty fear factor follows most Class ll boater…. Am on last clinic from finally starting to have a repeatable…

I encourage all in my group take a class….

I took up kayaking when I retired at the age of 68. I’ve slowly moved into enjoying minor white water and would like to move up to Class III. I knew I needed a roll and on Alberto Toledo’s recommendation I’ve now taken three lessons from Daniel Lassiter. Daniel is a superb instructor for older folks ( he is probably a fantastic instructor for younger folks as well, but I wouldn’t know about that). Daniel has the ability to take a problem area and break it down into manageable parts. Anyone that can teach a 71 year old guy like me to have a repeatable pool roll deserves all the kudos he can get. Now I will take my pool roll to the river this spring. Wish me luck!

I would highly recommend H2O Dreams. Chris and Lydia are true professionals. Chris was able to break down the roll into simple steps and explain simply how your form effects each step. I was able to roll successfully with one lesson.

This was my second class/course with H2O dreams. The class was fantastic. Lydia is a first-class instructor, detailed-oriented, patient and great at gently helping build your confidence in learning to roll. The class is a superb value. I look forward to learning more from the team of instructors at H2O dreams.
