“I cannot recommend a boost session enough if you are serious about progressing your kayaking skills. I began taking the boost classes when I was first starting out and can attest the quick feedback I got while building my foundation gave me so much confidence when doing solo drills. As I progressed I really enjoyed getting more finite adjustments from the instructors; there was always a challenge no matter where my paddling was at. Knowing how to move well not only makes you look cool but protects your body from harm, and I feel that learning and drilling the movement patterns I learned at boost have vastly contributed to my injury-free record in kayaking thus far. And just because it’s an instructional environment doesn’t mean it’s not fun”

About the course:
DO WORK! A 7-week series that builds throughout the program to get you through the winter and early spring doldrums and increase and maintain paddling fitness into the spring paddling season. Every week we choose a basic discipline; slalom or attaining, and spend 3 hours focused on improving these specific skills. The focus starts with mechanics, then quickly moves into more performative measurables on the water. This has been the basis of our spring training program for our staff for years and will very quickly get you ready for your upcoming season on the water to achieve your goals.
For those that are looking for something a little more specific, check out our performance coaching program with Chris.
Worried about the cold? No worries, these workouts are going to keep you warm and burn those extra winter calories.
